About AL1666 Leaf Chains
AL1666 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain conforming to ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts a 6×6 lacing structure with a pitch of 50.8 mm (2.0 inch). Fabricated from heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it is assembled with precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins, delivering outstanding tensile strength and great fatigue resistance.
Designed for heavy lifting and tensioning services, it features low permanent elongation under sustained heavy loads and flexes smoothly on sheaves. Typical applications include large forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and counterweight systems. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings can be provided to fit different working conditions.
