About AL1644 Leaf Chains
AL1644 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain complying with ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts a 4×4 lacing structure with a pitch of 50.8 mm (2.0 inch). Made of heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it is fitted with precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins to provide reliable tensile strength and good fatigue resistance.
This leaf chain is engineered for lifting and tensioning purposes. It maintains low permanent elongation under heavy loads and flexes smoothly on sheaves. It is widely applied in large forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and counterweight systems. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available as needed.
