About AL1444 Leaf Chains
AL1444 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain manufactured to ANSI B29.8 standard. It comes with a 4×4 lacing structure and a pitch of 44.45 mm (1.75 inch). Made of heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it consists of precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins, providing great tensile strength and reliable fatigue resistance.
It is designed for lifting and tensioning applications. The chain keeps low permanent elongation under heavy loads and flexes smoothly on sheaves. It is commonly used for large forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and counterweight systems. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available to meet different working requirements.
