About AL1066 Leaf Chains
AL1066 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain following ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts a 6×6 lacing structure with a pitch of 31.75 mm (1.25 inch). Built from heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it uses precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins to achieve great tensile strength and reliable fatigue resistance.
It is engineered for lifting and tensioning operations. The chain shows low permanent elongation under heavy loads and bends smoothly on sheaves. It is commonly used for forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and counterweight systems. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available on request.
