About AL888 Leaf Chains
AL888 is the ultra-heavy-duty model of AL series leaf chains, made to ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts 8×8 lacing structure with a pitch of 25.4 mm (1 inch). Constructed from heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it features precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins, delivering outstanding ultimate tensile strength and superior fatigue resistance.
Designed for the most demanding lifting and tensioning tasks, this chain runs smoothly over sheaves with minimal permanent elongation. It is widely applied in heavy-duty forklift masts, large hoists, lifting platforms and heavy material handling machinery. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available to meet various working conditions.
