About AL866 Leaf Chains
AL866 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain built to ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts 6×6 lacing structure with a pitch of 25.4 mm (1 inch). Made of high-strength heat-treated alloy steel, it features precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins for outstanding tensile strength and fatigue resistance.
Designed for heavy lifting and tensioning, this chain operates smoothly over sheaves with low permanent elongation. It is widely used for forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and heavy material handling equipment. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available to match different working requirements.
