About AL844 Leaf Chains
AL844 is a heavy-duty AL series leaf chain conforming to ANSI B29.8 standard. It adopts an 8×4 lacing structure with a pitch of 19.05 mm (0.75 inch). Fabricated from heat-treated high-strength alloy steel, it consists of precision blanked link plates and hardened solid pins, providing great tensile strength and reliable fatigue resistance.
It is designed for lifting and tensioning services. With low elongation under heavy loads, the chain flexes smoothly on sheaves. It is widely applied in forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and material handling machinery. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis fittings are available upon request.
