About AL822 Leaf Chains
AL822 is an AL series leaf chain manufactured to ANSI B29.8 standard. It features an 8×2 lacing layout with a pitch of 19.05 mm (0.75 inch). Built from high-strength heat-treated alloy steel, its precision punched link plates and hardened solid pins ensure reliable tensile strength and good fatigue performance.
This leaf chain is engineered for lifting and tensioning applications. It works steadily under moderate to heavy loads with low elongation. Common uses include forklift masts, hoists, lifting platforms and material handling systems. Optional surface treatments and custom clevis connectors are offered to fit different working conditions.
