About AL466 Leaf Chains
AL466 is ANSI AL series leaf chain, 6×6 lacing, pitch 12.70mm (0.5 inch). Built with high-strength alloy steel link plates and hardened pins, heat-treated and pre-stretched to limit initial elongation and improve fatigue resistance. The rollerless design fits sheaves well, providing higher tensile capacity for heavy lifting demands. It is commonly used for forklift masts, counterweight systems and medium-duty hoisting equipment. Optional surface finishes include blackening and phosphating for wear and corrosion protection. Manufactured to ANSI B29.8 specification, fully interchangeable, easy to fit and maintain. Custom lengths and connecting links are offered.
