About #C140-3 Staight Side Roller Chain

ANSI C140-3 straight side roller chain is a heavy-duty triple-strand chain meeting ANSI B29.1 standards. Straight side plates provide flat mounting surfaces for various attachments, ideal for bulk material conveying.

Key components are made of high-tensile carbon steel and heat-treated to achieve excellent tensile strength, wear resistance and impact resistance. It has a standard pitch of 1.75 inches. The triple-strand structure improves load capacity and ensures precise sprocket meshing with low vibration under heavy loads.

Available in riveted or cottered styles for convenient installation and maintenance. It is commonly used in heavy-duty conveyors, quarry machinery and bulk material handling systems. Custom attachments and surface treatments are available upon request.
