About #C40-2 Staight Side Roller Chain

ANSI C40-2 straight side roller chain meets ANSI B29.1 standard. This double-strand roller chain is equipped with straight side plates to create a flat load-carrying surface, ideal for light to medium power transmission and material conveying.

Made of high-tensile carbon steel, all components are heat-treated for reliable tensile strength and good wear resistance. Its pitch is 1/2 inch (12.7 mm). Precision machining ensures smooth meshing with matched sprockets, delivering stable and low-noise operation.

It is supplied in riveted or cottered versions for convenient assembly and maintenance. Widely used in packaging machines, conveyor lines and general automation equipment. Custom attachments and surface treatments are available upon request.
