Green Manufacturing Leads Industry Transformation: One-Stop Transmission Helps the Low-Carbon Development of Sprockets, Chains, Gears and Bearings
Release time:2026-05-15

Guided by the "dual carbon" goal, the green transformation of China's industrial field is accelerating. The transmission component industry has actively responded to the requirements of low-carbon development, comprehensively promoting green manufacturing from material selection, production processes to the whole life cycle management of products. With the advantage of full-process low-carbon management and control, the one-stop transmission service model has become an important force driving the green upgrading of the sprocket, chain, gear, and bearing industry.
The R&D and application of green materials have become the industry consensus. In the production process of transmission components, the consumption of raw materials such as steel and alloys is large, so the green transformation starts from the material end. The industry vigorously promotes high-strength and lightweight materials, reducing raw material consumption on the premise of ensuring performance. For example, products such as high-strength aluminum alloy sprockets and thin-walled bearings are 20%-30% lighter than traditional products, while maintaining stable load-bearing capacity. In addition, the application of recyclable steel, environmentally friendly lubricating materials, and low-volatility coatings has greatly reduced pollutant emissions during the production process and reduced the impact on the environment. One-stop services integrate green concepts in the scheme design stage, giving priority to the selection of low-carbon and environmentally friendly materials, and controlling the low-carbon attributes of the transmission system from the source.
Energy-saving process transformation empowers carbon reduction in the production link. In the traditional production process of transmission components, processes such as heat treatment and precision processing consume a lot of energy. Through technological transformation, the industry has promoted energy-saving heat treatment equipment, efficient processing processes, and waste heat recovery systems, greatly reducing production energy consumption. For example, the use of energy-saving carburizing and quenching furnaces reduces energy consumption by more than 15%; the introduction of high-speed and efficient cutting technology in the precision processing link reduces processing allowance and energy consumption; production wastewater and waste gas are centrally treated to meet discharge standards, realizing clean production. The one-stop integrated production model achieves coordinated carbon reduction in the production process of sprockets, chains, gears, and bearings through optimizing production processes and overall energy management and control, avoiding energy waste caused by scattered production.
The whole life cycle low-carbon management of products is continuously promoted. One-stop transmission services not only focus on the product production link, but also extend to the whole life cycle such as use and recycling. By optimizing the transmission scheme, it reduces friction loss during equipment operation, and reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions; the design of detachable and easily recyclable structures facilitates material recycling and reuse after product scrapping, improving resource utilization. Data shows that equipment adopting green one-stop transmission solutions has an average reduction of 8%-12% in operating energy consumption, and the product recycling rate has increased to more than 90%, helping the industrial field achieve carbon emission reduction goals. Industry experts said that the integration of green manufacturing and one-stop services will promote the transmission component industry to form a full-chain green development model of "low-carbon design, energy-saving production, efficient use, and circular recycling".
